Yesterday a delegation of Koprivnica – Križevci County Tourist Board headed by the director of the Tourist Board of Koprivnica-Križevci County, Zdravko Mihevc and his professional assistant at the tourist office Mr. Krešimir Blazek was received by Citluk Mayor, Mr Ivo Jerkic in his office. The topic of discussion was the project The Easter egg from the heart and intention of Koprivnica-Križevci County and its Tourist Board to donate the Easter egg, painted in the naïve style, to place of Medjugorje.

Mayor Jerkić thanked for the Easter egg and got the guests acquainted with the tourism potential of the district of Citluk as well as with the previous cooperation of Citluk and its friendly town Križevci. After the meeting the delegation and the Mayor Jerkic visited Medjugorje, where the details of the project were presented to the parish priest of Medjugorje, Fra Petar Vlasic. He thanked the guests for having chosen Medjugorje as the location of the Easter Egg..Furthermore Fra Petar Vlasic showed the place where the Easter egg will be set on - the platform in front of the main entrance to the church of St. James. Easter egg will be set up on March 22nd 2010, (two weeks before Easter) therefore it will be seen by tens of thousands of believers from all over the world that will be visiting Medjugorje these days. Not only is this a great promotion of naive art, but also a great promotion of Koprivnica-Križevci County as well as its Tourist board.
