Koprivnica-Križevci County and its Tourist Board continue even this year with the project "Easter egg from the heart." The first this year's "Easter egg from the heart,", has been painted in the naive style by the members of the art section" Podravka 72'': Marija Stipan, Tomislav Grabar, Josip Gregurić and Zlatko Štrfiček. The event took place in the Hotel "Podravina in Koprivnica This huge decorated egg, a symbol of friendship, love and joy of Easter, is a joint gift of Koprivnica-Križevci County, its Tourist Board and the Town of Koprivnica to residents and visitors to the town of Koprivnica and Koprivnica-Križevci County for the Easter 2010. Therefore, the mayor of Koprivnica, Mr. Zvonimir Mrsic and deputy mayor, Mr. Darko Sobota, ‘’contributed to the painting of Koprivnica Easter egg in a symbolic way – with the final brush strokes. Along with the occasional programme Koprivnica Easter egg will be placed in the town fountain of the square Zrinski, in Koprivnica on Saturday, March 27th 2010.
